Fernando Ramirez

Chris Hyder is Group President, Health & Hygiene at The Clorox Company. He added responsibility for Professional Products in October 2021, when he also joined the Clorox Executive Committee.

Previously, Hyder served in various roles of increasing responsibility, including vice president and general manager – Home Care; vice president of marketing – Cleaning and general manager – Laundry; and general manager – Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He started at Clorox in 2003 as an associate marketing manager.

Before joining Clorox, he worked as a brand manager at The Learning Company and began his career as a marketing assistant at General Mills.

Hyder holds an MBA in global management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics and communications, also from Stanford University.

Chris Hyder

Rebecca Dunphey is Group President, Care & Connection. She joined Clorox in March 2022 and is also the executive sponsor of company’s sustainability program.

Prior to Clorox, Dunphey was president, Personal Care – North America for [Kimberly-Clark](/org/kimberly-clark). Her tenure at [Kimberly-Clark](/org/kimberly-clark) spanned over a decade and several leadership roles, including president, Baby and Child Care – North America, president, Adult and Feminine Care, country manager – Panama, and country manager — Ecuador. She also managed many of the company’s iconic brands.

Before joining [Kimberly-Clark](/org/kimberly-clark), Dunphey spent five years with [Unilever](/org/unilever), where she worked on its ice cream brands and out of home channel.

Dunphey holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from [Augustana College](/org/augustana-college) and a master’s degree in business administration from the [University of Iowa](/org/university-of-iowa).

Rebecca Dunphey

Angela Hilt was named executive vice president and chief legal officer of The Clorox Company in October 2022. In this role, she oversees worldwide legal, ethics and compliance, corporate secretary, and internal audit matters. At that time, she also became a member of the Clorox Executive Committee.

During 15 years with the company, Hilt has served in various positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to her current role, she was vice president, corporate secretary and associate general counsel. Her responsibilities involved leading corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate finance, executive compensation, and real estate. As corporate secretary, she worked closely with the company’s board of directors and executive committee on corporate governance matters and led the company’s stockholder engagement program. Additionally, she had oversight for the company’s international legal matters, including global litigation and arbitration, serving on the International Leadership Team. She also served on the company’s Legal Leadership Team, providing strategy, financial management and people oversight of the department as well as overseeing the company’s legal operations group. In previous roles, she was a member of the Cleaning Division Leadership Team, overseeing legal matters for the Home Care and Laundry businesses, and of the Specialty Division Leadership Team, overseeing legal matters for the Kingsford, Brita, Burt’s Bees, Hidden Valley Ranch, Glad and Fresh Step businesses.   

Before joining Clorox, Hilt practiced corporate law at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP in San Francisco.

She is a past president of the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and serves on the board of directors of the Society for Corporate Governance.  

Hilt holds a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Stanford University.

Angela Hilt

Guy Mills is the VP-Global Operations Services, PSO at [The Clorox Company](/org/the-clorox-company). Guy has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management and has worked as a strategy and operations consultant for manufacturing, retail, and telecom clients. Guy has also served as the advancement chair for the [Boy Scouts of America](/org/boy-scouts-of-america), Pack 1417. In this role, they helped boys move through the ranks of Cub Scouting and transition into a Boy Scout troop.

Guy Mills has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university). Guy also has an Advanced Executive Program and Global Executive Academy from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Kathryn Tesija

Chau Banks is senior vice president and chief information and enterprise analytics officer of [The Clorox Company](/org/the-clorox-company). She joined the company in June 2020 as senior vice president and chief information officer.

Banks joined Clorox from [Revlon](/org/revlon), where she served as chief technology and digital officer, responsible for the strategic direction of all aspects of the company’s global technology organization and driving digital transformation initiatives across the business units.

Previously, Banks served as executive vice president, chief information officer and channel integration at New York & Company, a leading specialty manufacturer and retailer of women’s fashion apparel and accessories. She was responsible for providing strategic direction for the technology organization and also the integration of business channels that reach all customer touch points.

Additionally, Banks has held leadership positions at leading global retailers including Coach, [Abercrombie & Fitch](/org/abercrombie-fitch) and LBrands. She also worked at [Capgemini](/org/capgemini) and Ernst & Young as a management consultant, providing clients the ability to link technology with business goals in order to accelerate operational efficiencies and achieve growth. Esther Lee

Stacey Grier was named executive vice president and chief growth and strategy officer in March 2022. In this role she has responsibility for Marketing, R&D, the New Business Development Unit (NBDU) and Strategy.

Prior to this, Stacey was named senior vice president and chief marketing officer in January 2019, taking on additional responsibility for enterprise strategy in September 2020. As CMO, she had global responsibility for all marketing functions, including brand strategy and management, personnel staffing and development, consumer insights, advanced analytics, agency management, consumer promotion, digital capabilities, media planning and buying, commercial production, and graphic design.

Grier joined the company in 2016 as vice president – brand and marketing strategy. In this role, she led brand purpose development for the company’s strategic brands globally and she was the architect of the brand strategy toolkit for marketing. With the addition of the Nutranext business following the Renew Life® acquisition, she added the role vice president of Enhanced Wellness Marketing, overseeing marketing for the latest additions to the company’s portfolio. Most recently, Grier has been vice president of brand engagement leading channel, content and commerce activation.

Prior to joining Clorox, Grier spent over 25 years in advertising. Her most recent role prior to Clorox was chief strategic officer of DDB San Francisco, the global leader for DDB’s strategic think tank and a member of their executive committee.

Born in Chicago and raised in St. Louis, Grier holds a bachelor’s degree in social psychology from [Drake University](/org/drake-university) and a master’s degree in business administration in marketing from Washington University’s Olin Business School.

Stacey Grier

Bill Bailey was named senior vice president – corporate and business development in January 2016.

Before assuming this position, Bailey served as vice president – corporate and business development at TripAdvisor, leading mergers and acquisitions in new and existing markets as well as overseeing key strategic partnerships. Previously, he worked as vice president of corporate development for companies including Ancestry.com, Check Point Software Technologies Inc., [Autodesk](/org/autodesk), Netcentives Inc. and as senior director of corporate development at Yahoo Inc., where he was responsible for key strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and growth strategies. Earlier in his career, he conducted investment research for Fidelity Investments and worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs & Co.

From 2011-15, Bailey served on the board of directors of AchieveMission, an organization focused on advising nonprofits in human capital management. A native of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Bailey earned a master’s degree in public policy from [Harvard University](/org/harvard)’s Kennedy School of Government, where he was a Kennedy Fellow, and a bachelor’s degree with honors from [Wesleyan University](/org/wesleyan-university).

William Bailey

Linda Rendle, a 17-year veteran of The Clorox Company, was promoted to CEO Sept 14, 2020. Currently president, she oversees all the company’s businesses, corporate and business development, corporate strategy, and the five core global functions — Marketing, Sales, Product Supply, Research & Development and Information Technology. She was appointed to this role in May 2020.

Before assuming this role, Rendle was executive vice president – Cleaning, International, Strategy and Operations, beginning in July 2019. In this position, she had responsibility for the company’s Cleaning and International segments and corporate business strategy along with the company’s five core global functions. From January through July 2019, she was executive vice president – Strategy and Operations, with responsibility for corporate business strategy and the company’s five core global functions as well as the International segment and Nutranext and RenewLife® businesses. Prior to that, she served as senior vice president – Cleaning Division, a role she assumed in 2016 when she also joined the Clorox Executive Committee. She added responsibility for the Professional Products business in 2017 and corporate strategy in July 2018, at which time she was promoted to executive vice president. Previously, she served as vice president and general manager for the Home Care strategic business unit. 

Since joining the organization in 2003, Rendle has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Sales and Product Supply organizations, including vice president of sales – Cleaning Division, where she helped to develop new strategies and growth platforms for the Laundry and Home Care businesses; director of sales for the customer supply chain; and director of sales planning– Litter, Food and Charcoal. Her career at Clorox began as a senior sales analyst on the company’s charcoal and insecticides businesses.

Before joining Clorox, Rendle worked for [Procter & Gamble](/org/procter-gamble), where she held several positions in sales management in the Boston and Charlotte markets.

A native of Massachusetts, Rendle holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University.

Linda Rendle

Michael Ott was named senior vice president and chief research & development officer in 2022, joining the Clorox Executive Committee. He also continues to serve as interim chief sustainability officer.

Ott has spent his entire professional career at Clorox, touching nearly every part of the business. Most recently, he was vice president – R&D for the Specialty Division, helping reset the business through the development of innovation platforms such as Fresh Step with Gain cat litter, Glad with Clorox trash bags and Hidden Valley Special Sauce as a member of the Specialty Leadership Team. In late 2021, he also began leading the Sustainability Center as its interim chief sustainability officer, working with the businesses to achieve the company’s packaging and emissions goals. Previously, he was vice president – R&D for Cleaning, International and Professional Products, serving on both the Cleaning and International leadership teams. In earlier roles, he led initiatives resulting in significant expansion of the Home Care and Professional Products businesses behind platforms including Clorox disinfecting wipes, Green Works, Scentiva, CloroxPro bleach, CloroxPro hydrogen peroxide and Clorox Total 360.

Starting as a bench scientist in 1996, Ott moved to the Product Supply Organization’s Global Strategic Sourcing team before returning to R&D to be on the ground floor of the set-up of the company’s Open Innovation capability.

Ott holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from [Villanova University](/org/villanova-university).

He sits on the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland, California, and has coached Pop Warner youth football in West Oakland for more than a decade.

Michael Ott

Julia (Charter) Denman has served as corporate vice president and head of internal audit, enterprise risk and compliance at Microsoft since 2019. In this role, she leads a team that provides independent and objective assessments of the company’s business strategies and operations, oversight of its governance and strategy for global risk management and compliance, and leads investigations related to business conduct. She joined the company in 2014, serving as corporate vice president and chief financial officer of its devices business until 2016 and then the worldwide marketing and consumer business until 2019.

Previously, Denman spent 20 years with [Procter & Gamble](/org/procter-gamble) in leadership roles in both the U.S. and Europe. Her two-decade career there culminated in her role as assistant treasurer and finance director, responsible for the most strategic and central elements of treasury, including capital markets, cash management, and risk management. Other key positions she held included finance director – France, where she helped lead a turnaround of the $3 billion division, and finance director – North America Family Care, where she worked with her team to develop product and marketing innovation strategies and cost savings initiatives that contributed to higher sales and profit.

Denman holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in economics from Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge.

Denman’s strategic financial, operational and risk management leadership as well as her experience in executing transformation strategies enable her to provide valuable perspective on Clorox’s business and capital allocation strategies to drive profitable growth. In addition, her experience leading teams in both developed and emerging markets will allow her to contribute important insights to Clorox’s international growth strategies.

Jennifer Richter

Eric Schwartz was named senior vice president and chief marketing officer of [The Clorox Company](/org/the-clorox-company) in March 2022. As CMO, he has global responsibility for all marketing functions, including brand strategy and management, staffing and development, consumer insights, advanced analytics, agency management, consumer promotion, digital capabilities, media planning and buying, commercial production, and graphic design. Schwartz also provides oversight for direct-to-consumer capabilities, network partnerships within multitype innovation, and integrated supply and demand planning.

Schwartz first joined Clorox as a brand manager from 2000 to 2004. He rejoined the company in 2019 as vice president and general manager — Glad and Brita, and was promoted to senior vice president and general manager – Specialty in 2021.

Prior to returning to Clorox, Schwartz served as a general manager at [Henkel](/org/henkel), Hillshire Brands and [Tyson Foods](/org/tyson-foods), owning businesses of up to $3 billion. He has extensive strategy, commercial and digital experience.

Schwartz holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management.

Eric Schwartz

Shanique Bonelli-Moore is chief diversity and social impact officer of The Clorox Company, a role she assumed in July 2022. In this role, she leads all inclusion, diversity, equity and allyship (IDEA) initiatives. She also guides the strategy and execution of The Clorox Company Foundation’s charitable giving and employee community engagement programs.

Bonelli-Moore joined Clorox from United Talent Agency, where she served as executive director of inclusion. In this role she spearheaded the company’s efforts to model inclusion across the entertainment industry. She joined UTA in 2018 to lead internal communications before she was tapped to spearhead their inclusion efforts. In her role, she helped guide UTA’s early efforts to build a thriving diversity and inclusion program and helped advance the creation of the department she went on to direct.

Before UTA, Bonelli-Moore held positions at BuzzFeed, Anheuser-Busch InBev, NBCUniversal and GE, where she focused on corporate communications, diversity, inclusion and belonging. She is a business- and growth-oriented leader who is committed to uniting employees, bridging interests and identities, fostering career development and enhancing global community building. She is also the founder of Girlfriends Retreat, a lifestyle brand and community that centers women while celebrating the transformative power of friendships.

Bonelli-Moore earned an M.S. degree in strategic communications from Columbia University and holds a B.S. degree in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, where she currently serves as an adjunct professor of diversity, inclusion and leadership in communications.

Shanique Bonelli-Moore

Stephanie Plaines most recently served as global chief financial officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. from 2019 to 2020. In this role, she implemented a new enterprisewide system that provided insight on business performance and enabled decision-making based on customer and analytical data in order to drive top- and bottom-line profitability. She also instilled best practices in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Her tenure at JLL was also marked by extensive cost management, rigor in cash flow, and transparency with investors as the company navigated the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before joining JLL, Plaines served in multiple CFO roles — for [Starbucks](/org/starbucks)’ U.S. Retail division from 2017 to 2019, for the e-commerce business of [Walmart](/org/walmart) and Sam’s Club from 2016 to 2017, and for Ahold USA’s Stop & Stop division from 2011 to 2016. She also worked as a vice president of finance – business planning and performance for Ahold USA from 2008 to 2011 and vice president of group treasury for [Ahold Delhaize](/org/ahold-delhaize) from 2004 to 2008. Previously, Plaines worked for Catalina Marketing — one of the early pioneers of consumer data — from 2001 to 2004, where she rose to oversee international finance. Her first position in the consumer packaged goods industry was with PepsiCo Inc., where she worked in global planning and analysis for its [Tropicana](/org/tropicana) business and in corporate development from 1996 to 2001. She started her career in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions at UBS.

Plaines serves as a director at KKR Acquisition Holdings I Corp. (2022 to present) and Nielsen Holdings PLC (2021 to present). She serves on the audit committee of both boards.

Plaines holds a Bachelor of Science degree in international finance from the [University of Florida](/org/university-of-florida) and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.

Plaines’ extensive executive and financial leadership experience across a wide variety of consumer, e-commerce and financial services companies in the U.S. as well as internationally enables her to contribute unique insights to Clorox on strategy and growth. She also has experience with transformation agendas and leveraging consumer and data insights to drive growth, which will provide valuable perspective for Clorox’s brand-building, marketing and digital transformation efforts.

Stephanie Plaines

Matt Gregory is senior vice president and chief customer officer of The Clorox Company, responsible for the global sales function. He assumed this role and joined the Clorox Executive Committee in October 2021. Additionally, he continues to serve as general manager of Health and Beauty, providing executive oversight of the company’s personal care and vitamins, minerals and supplements businesses.

Previously, Gregory led the Burt’s Bees business and had executive oversight of the Better Health VMS business as vice president and general manager – Health and Beauty. Before that, he was vice president and general manager – Burt’s Bees. Some of the other leadership positions he has held have included vice president and general manager – Kingsford; vice president of sales – Specialty Division; director of sales – Walmart U.S.; and director of sales – Cleaning Division. His career at Clorox began in 2004, when he joined the sales organization.

Prior to joining Clorox, Gregory worked at The Procter & Gamble Company and held several positions is sales management as well as market strategy and planning during his eight-year tenure.

He currently serves on the strategic advisory committee for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is a former member of the board of directors of the Natural Products Association.

Gregory received his undergraduate degree in economics from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Kirk Niehaus

Rick McDonald was named senior vice president and chief product supply officer in December 2020, responsible for overseeing all global supply chain activity for the company. This includes over 5,000 employees in 23 countries. He was appointed to the Clorox Executive Committee at the same time.

Before assuming this position, McDonald served in a number of executive capacities, most recently as vice president of global operations, leading all manufacturing; external manufacturing; logistics; planning; engineering; quality assurance; health, safety and environment; and continuous improvement, responsible for 4,800 employees in 23 countries and more than 50 plants and distribution centers. In previous roles, he was vice president of supply chain for the International Division, vice president of global logistics and vice president of supply chain for the Cleaning Division.

McDonald worked in various management and field-based supply chain positions as well. He was director of manufacturing, overseeing the company’s Cleaning Division plants; director of distribution center operations; and business planning manager for the charcoal and insecticides businesses. He also was a Cleaning Division plant manager and Kingsford charcoal product supply manager. His Clorox career began in 1992 as a senior production manager.

Prior to joining Clorox, McDonald spent 10 years working for Frito-Lay in numerous line and staff roles in five different manufacturing plants, including production manager of Frito-Lay’s third-largest plant, which supplied a full line of salty snacks to the Northeast United States.

McDonald is a past board member of the Yuhan Joint Venture; the Chlorine Institute; the Barbecue Industry Association, where he served as vice chairman; and the City of Vernon (California) Chamber of Commerce.

An Atlanta native, McDonald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management from Georgia Tech, where he also lettered on the baseball team.

Rick Mcdonald

Kevin Jacobsen was named executive vice president – chief financial officer effective January 2019, having been named senior vice president – chief financial officer in April 2018. As CFO, Jacobsen is the senior executive responsible for Clorox’s financial activities, including general accounting, external reporting, financial planning, treasury, tax and investor relations.

Jacobsen joined Clorox in 1995 and previously served as vice president – Financial Planning and Analysis from 2011 until being appointed CFO in 2018. Other positions with Clorox have included vice president – Finance, Business Development and International; vice president – Finance, Specialty Division; as well as finance management positions for the Kingsford, Cat Litter and Brazil businesses and the Product Supply Organization.

Before joining Clorox, he spent five years working for General Motors Corporation in numerous finance and accounting roles based out of New York.

Kevin Jacobsen

Kirsten Marriner was named executive vice president – chief people officer effective January 2019, having joined the company as senior vice president – chief people officer in March 2016. In this role, Marriner serves as an enterprise leader, with a focus on driving growth through people. She has responsibilities for culture, employee experience, and inclusion and diversity, and leads all human resources functions globally, including talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and HR operations and service delivery.

With more than 25 years’ experience in human resources and a track record of driving change, improving processes and strategically managing costs to generate business outcomes, Marriner previously was the senior vice president and chief human resources officer at [Omnicare](/org/omnicare-inc), a Fortune 500 healthcare services company that was acquired by CVS Health Corporation in August 2015. At [Omnicare](/org/omnicare-inc), she developed a business-aligned HR organization and transformed the corporate culture and rewards programs. 

Prior to this position, Marriner served in a variety of progressive leadership roles for [Fifth Third Bank](/org/fifth-third-bank), most recently as senior vice president, director of talent management and development. During her tenure, she held other key leadership positions including various vice president roles encompassing Bancorp employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, HR service delivery, compensation, and performance management as well as divisional human resources. Before joining [Fifth Third Bank](/org/fifth-third-bank), she served in an HR leadership role for [KeyCorp](/org/keycorp) and worked in the HR consulting practices at both [Deloitte](/org/deloitte) and [KPMG](/org/kpmg). 

She is a member of the board of directors of Zovio Inc. and serves as a director on the Advisory Leadership Board for Diversity MBA, A P&L Group Brand.

Eric Reynolds is executive vice president and chief operating officer of [The Clorox Company](/org/the-clorox-company), a role he assumed in September 2020. In this position, he has executive oversight of all U.S. businesses as well as the global Product Supply Organization, Information Technology and enterprise operations. He also serves as executive sponsor for enterprise sustainability.

During more than 20 years with the company, Reynolds has served in many senior leadership roles, most recently as executive vice president – Household and Lifestyle, with responsibility for the Litter, Food, Charcoal, Brita, Glad, Burt’s Bees, Nutranext and RenewLife businesses. Additionally, he spent three years as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. As CMO, he had global responsibility for all marketing functions, including brand strategy and management, personnel staffing and development, consumer insights, advanced analytics, agency management, consumer promotion, digital capabilities, media planning and buying, commercial production, and graphic design. Before these roles, he served as vice president and general manager – Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, overseeing Clorox’s growth and brand strategies in these regions. His career at Clorox began in 1998 as an associate marketing manager on the Brita business.

Reynolds currently serves as the executive sponsor for the company’s LGBTQ employee resource group.

Prior to joining the company, Reynolds spent five years working for [General Mills](/org/general-mills) in finance.

He currently chairs the Vesper Society, a social justice health access foundation, and serves as a director on the boards of the [American Cleaning Institute](/org/american-cleaning-institute) and the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

A native of Minneapolis, Reynolds holds a bachelor’s degree in English and economics from Saint Olaf College. He also holds an MBA in marketing and strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university).

Amy Banse has served as managing director and head of funds of [Comcast](/org/comcast) Ventures, the venture capital arm of [Comcast](/org/comcast) Corporation, a global media and technology company, since August 2011. From 2005 to 2011, Banse was senior vice president, [Comcast](/org/comcast) Corporation, and president, [Comcast](/org/comcast) Interactive Media, a division of [Comcast](/org/comcast) responsible for developing online strategy and operating the company’s digital properties, including [Fandango](/org/fandango), Xfinity.com and Xfinitytv.com. Banse serves as a director of Adobe Systems, Inc. She also serves on the boards of a number of [Comcast](/org/comcast) Ventures’ portfolio companies, including [Quantifind](/org/quantifind) and [TuneIn](/org/tunein), and on the board of [Tipping Point Community](/org/tipping-point-community).

She holds a bachelor’s degree from [Harvard University](/org/harvard) and a doctor of law degree from Temple University Law School.
