Paula Jean Hunt has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Paula Jean currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at The Club at Admirals Cove since May 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Lost Tree Club from May 2011 to May 2020. Paula has also been actively involved in leadership roles at HFTP SOUTH FLORIDA CHAPTER, serving as a Board of Directors member from October 2010 to October 2019, and as the President from September 2014 to October 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Fort Lauderdale Country Club from August 2007 to May 2011, and at Coral Ridge Country Club from August 2000 to August 2007. Paula began their career as a Senior Audit & Tax Associate at Falkins, Nichols, Wilson, Hunt and Company, where they eventually became a Partner, and later worked as a Senior Tax Associate at BDO USA, LLP.

Paula Jean Hunt, CCM, CPA, MST, began their education journey in 1980 at Lake Weir High School. Paula Jean graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) with a focus on Accounting. In 1991, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Florida Board of Accountancy.

Throughout their career, Hunt has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMAA) certification from the AICPA. More recently, in 2021, they earned the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation from the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).

Hunt has continued to invest in their professional development by attending various institutes and programs. In 2018, they completed the CMAA Business Management Institute at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, focusing on Organizational Leadership. The following year, in 2019, they attended the CMAA Business Management Institute at Michigan State University, focusing on General Manager/COO Concept. Most recently, in 2020, they participated in the CMAA Business Management Institute at the University of Houston, specializing in Food and Beverage Management.
