Juan Rio

Juan Rio has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Juan began their career as a Technical Account Manager at Indiqu, where they managed the technical implementation of mobile content services. Juan then worked as an IT Manager at ALTEN, focusing on mobile technologies and content syndication.

Following this, Juan served as the CIO & Founding Member of Arrimate Online, leading an e-commerce company in the ticketing industry. Juan then joined Telefonica Publicidad e Información (TPI) as a Digital IT Manager, where they oversaw the development and delivery of Noxtrum, a prominent Spanish search engine.

Juan then worked at Vocento as a Senior IT Manager, responsible for the implementation and troubleshooting of enterprise search services. Subsequently, at Equifax, they became the Iberian IT Development Director, overseeing IT delivery and support for Spain and Portugal.

Prior to their current role, Juan worked as a Digital Transformation Consultant, providing strategic guidance and executing digital transformation plans for clients as a freelancer. Currently, they hold the position of Head of IT at The Cocktail, where they lead digital transformation projects and focuses on technology, data, and product/design.

Juan Rio has studied Business Administration at EOI and Telecommunications Engineering at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Bilbao.
