Maria Faatuai

Maria Faatuai is currently an Explore Uni Student Ambassador at Queensland University of Technology, focusing on enhancing post-school pathway participation for under-represented groups. Alongside this role, Maria has extensive experience at The Coffee Club Australia as Shift Manager and previously as a Barista, showcasing strong leadership and customer service skills. Maria has been involved with UQ SPIA in various capacities, including Vice President and Cultural Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed event organization and administration, earning recognition for successfully executing UQ Gatton's first Pasifika event. Additional roles include social media management for Reading Entertainment and the Queensland Pacific Island Cultural Carnival, demonstrating proficiency in digital engagement. Maria is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Services at QUT, expected to graduate in July 2025.
