Jeff Swearingen

Jeff Swearingen has a diverse work experience in technology and software engineering roles. Jeff is currently the Director of Ecommerce Engineering at Colibri Group, where they lead a team of software engineers and guides the technical direction and project delivery of ecommerce projects. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Software Engineering at Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors. Before that, Jeff was the Manager of Software Development at SurePayroll, where they led multiple Agile teams and oversaw the development of financial applications. Jeff also has experience as the Manager of Internet Systems and Digital IT Manager at Weber-Stephen Products LLC, where they were responsible for web application development and technology architecture. Jeff's early career includes roles as a Technology Consultant and Web Developer at Morrison & Morrison, Ltd., where they worked on ERP implementations and provided technical consulting services.

Jeff Swearingen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (Human-Computer Interaction) from DePaul University, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at George Washington High School, where they graduated in 1995 with a diploma. During high school, Jeff was part of the Computer Magnet Program and focused on web development. Later, in 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Leadership Development Certificate from Harper College.
