Mark Coomes

Mark Coomes has extensive work experience in various leadership and human resources roles. Mark is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Colibri Group since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at Monogram Foods from February 2019 to September 2021. From January 2013 to February 2019, they worked as the Vice President of Human Resources and Community Relations at The Doe Run Company. Before that, they held multiple roles at Energizer, including Director of Human Resources - North America and Director of Training and Organization Development. Mark also worked at Pepsi Bottling Group, where they served as the Director of Frontline Selling Capability and Staffing and Training Manager. Their earlier work experience includes positions in human resources and training at the Phoenix Market Unit of Pepsi Bottling Group and as an Associate Professor of Military Science at Cornell University during their time in the US Army.

Mark Coomes attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Mark then pursued further education at the Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from 2006 to 2008, obtaining an MBA with a specialization in Management.
