Audra Brown Ward

Audra Brown Ward is an experienced educator currently serving as an Upper School Biology Teacher at The Westminster Schools since August 2019, where responsibilities include designing curriculum and teaching various AP® and honors courses. In addition to leading the Biology PLC from 2022 to 2024, Audra also mentors students in multiple capacities. Since 2010, Audra has worked with The College Board as a Workshop Consultant for AP® Biology and has held leadership roles in instructional design and professional development for AP® science courses. As a Reader/Table Leader for the AP® Biology Exam with Educational Testing Service, Audra ensures accurate assessments annually. Previous roles include being an NMSI Coach, Science Department Chair at Marist School, and a biology teacher at multiple institutions. Audra's writing contributions to prominent educational publishers further demonstrate expertise in AP® Biology resources, complemented by a M.S. in Biochemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Spelman College.
