Jack McGurk

Jack McGurk has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jack started their career as an Analyst at PCCI, Inc in 1996 and then worked as a Programmer/Analyst at American Management Systems (AMS) in 1997-1998. In 1999, they co-founded Altum, Inc., where they served as the Director of Operations until 2002. Jack then became the Principal/Managing Director at JMM Enterprises Ltd., Inc. from 2002-2004. Afterwards, they joined The NPD Group as the Vice President of Operations from 2004-2012. Following that, they worked as the Technology Director at IRI in 2012-2013. From 2013 onwards, Jack worked at The College Board, initially as the Senior Director of Data Exchange until 2018, then as the Executive Director of IT until 2019, and currently as the Vice President of Software Engineering.

Jack McGurk received a BS degree in Forestry & Wildlife from Virginia Tech between 1991 and 1995. Jack then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Systems Management from George Mason University from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they attended the University of Virginia from 1995 to 1996 for Secondary Education and Teaching but did not obtain a degree. Jack also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional from institution 11352.
