Kirby Spivey

Kirby Spivey is a seasoned professional in education with extensive experience in social studies curriculum development and management. Currently serving as the Senior Academic Manager for Social Studies at Progress Learning since May 2022, Kirby manages content for grades 6-12 and oversees video production. Previously, Kirby held the role of Academic Manager at USATestprep from January 2010 to May 2022, focusing on curriculum development, video production, and teacher training. Kirby also contributed to the advancement of AP World History as a table leader and reader for The College Board between 2003 and 2014. Teaching experience includes positions at The Walker School, East Paulding High School, and Mitchell-Baker High School, covering various social studies courses. Kirby holds a Master of Arts in History from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Auburn University.
