Lee Gonzales is an experienced educator with a strong background in Spanish language instruction and assessment. Since June 2016, Lee has served as an AP Spanish Language & Culture Rater for The College Board, evaluating Free Response Questions according to established scoring guidelines. Involved with the Kenosha Unified School District since August 2009, Lee has expanded the Spanish program to include multiple course levels and developed community partnerships, enhancing cultural education through student-led exhibits. Lee's leadership roles include serving as the World Language Department Leader and participating in various district teams focused on curriculum and equity. Additionally, Lee has provided guidance as an adviser for the National Honor Society and contributed to the National Association of Secondary School Principals as an Online Champion. Lee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Spanish from Carthage College and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development from National Louis University.
