Gordon Scruggs

Gordon Scruggs has extensive work experience in both the public and military sectors. Gordon began their career in the US Army as an Airborne soldier from August 1970 to March 1972. In December 2002, they joined the City of The Colony, Texas as the Director of Engineering. Gordon held this position until their retirement in March 2017.

Gordon Scruggs obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin from 1977 to 1979. Gordon then pursued further education at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources from 1982 to 1983.
