John P. Paduano

John is a Portfolio Manager in the Institutional Advisory Practice team. John is responsible for equity alternatives investments and co-leads the institutional group’s international, private equity, and venture capital investments. He is a Co-Portfolio Manager of The Colony Group International Fund, a concentrated portfolio focused on international equity managers. Additionally, he co-spearheads research efforts on opportunities in transformative innovation across sectors.

John brings over more than 15 years of experience working in institutional asset management. He served as a Managing Director at New Providence Asset Management prior to their merger with The Colony Group in 2021.

John graduated Phi Beta Kappa receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with distinction from the University of Colorado. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

John lives in New York City with his wife whom he met in high school. They have two sons and enjoy traveling and skiing as a family. When time allows, John likes to read philosophy, which he adamantly believes is beneficial to his personal and professional life.
