Zi Wang

As a Director of Institutional Advisory Practice at The Colony Group, Zi is responsible for identifying and providing comprehensive due diligence on new investment managers, monitoring and conducting analysis on existing investment managers on an ongoing basis to help drive portfolio long-term capital growth and mitigate risk profile. Additionally, he also monitors macro-economic environment and market developments globally across asset classes, in turn to provide timely updates to the broader investment team.

Zi served as an Associate Director at New Providence Asset Management prior to their merger with The Colony Group in 2021. Previously, he served as a Senior Associate at Citi Hedge Fund Services, responsible for major clients’ financial reporting and portfolio pricing.

He earned his Bachelor of Science Finance, Management Information System from University of Delaware. In addition, he earned his CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST® designation in 2011.

Outside of the office, Zi enjoys traveling, reading, photography, running and snowboarding.
