Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a seasoned professional in program management and strategic planning, currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at The Colorado Health Foundation since May 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, including Program and Strategy Officer and Director for Community Investments and the Built Environment from June 2018 to May 2023. Michael's experience also includes serving as a Project Manager at TREK Development Group and a Senior Planner in the Strategic Planning Division of the City of Pittsburgh. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Real Estate and Planning Project Manager for Hill Community Development Corporation and as a Neighborhood Planner for the City of Charlottesville. Michael earned a degree from the University of Virginia from 2005 to 2009.
