Johanna Ulloa Girón is a psychologist and social worker from Bogota, Colombia. Mrs. Ulloa Girón graduated with a master’s degree in social work from Colorado State University. She has more than 20 years of experience working with communities in Central, South, and North America. She has worked alongside communities for over 25 years and provided therapeutic services for over 15 years with a diverse clientele.
As the former director of community initiatives at the Tennyson Center for Children in Denver, she managed satellite programs to prevent out-of-home placement and developed the crisis response in-home program to preserve family units and prevent residential care treatment. Mrs. UIlloa Girón worked as a social worker with the Larimer County Department of Human Services in the Child Protection Department for four years, where she received awards for excellence for two years.
