Gabriela Kennedy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property, telecoms, media, and technology. Currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the ITechLaw Association and a Board Member of both The Commons Project Foundation and Design Trust, Gabriela has held significant roles at Mayer Brown as a Partner and Co-chair of the IP practice since 2013. Prior to this, Gabriela directed the Hong Kong International Literary Festival and was a Partner at Hogan Lovells, where involvement spanned from 1996 to 2013. Gabriela began legal training as a Trainee Solicitor at Hogan Lovells in the mid-1990s. Academically, Gabriela holds an LLM in Information Technology & Telecoms Law from the University of Strathclyde, a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The University of Hong Kong, and a C.P.E. in Law from Manchester Metropolitan University.
