Gretchen Jacobson is the Vice President of Medicare at The Commonwealth Fund since February 2020. Prior to this, Gretchen held positions such as Associate Director at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and Analyst in Health Care Financing at the Congressional Research Service. Gretchen has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University, a Ph.D. in Health Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
