Jessica Alvarado

Jessica Alvarado is a dedicated professional in the fields of theatre arts and education, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of PEAK Theatre Arts since February 2019. This organization focuses on inspiring students through culturally rich theatre programs that blend creativity with cultural identity, fostering critical thinking and inclusivity. An accomplished actress and filmmaker since 2004, Jessica has a diverse background that includes directing day camps and engaging in community-building initiatives to address societal perceptions. Moreover, Jessica has contributed as a Teaching Artist with Gitana Productions and developed innovative theatre curricula incorporating STEAM and Social Emotional Intelligence, demonstrating a strong commitment to youth empowerment and cross-cultural engagement. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Educational Studies from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and an Associate of Arts in Drama from St. Louis Community College.
