Daniel Sym

Daniel Sym is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Student Life at the Community College of Baltimore County since January 2013, where responsibilities include coordinating a comprehensive co-curricular learning program and advising student clubs and organizations. Prior roles include Community Director at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where Daniel supervised resident assistants, managed judicial cases, and collaborated on various programs, and held positions at Appalachian State University and SUNY Geneseo, focusing on student conduct, community building, and residential learning. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in College Student Development from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Sociology, and Public Relations from SUNY Geneseo.
