Katie York

Katie York is a dedicated professional in the field of education and community health with extensive experience at the Community College of Baltimore County since January 2019, serving as the Coordinator for the Peer Recovery Specialist Program and as a trainer in Neurodiversity Professional Development and Safe Zone for LGBTQ+. In addition to these roles, Katie has contributed as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching courses such as Introduction to Community Health, Contact Tracing, and supportive classes for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent children. Prior experience includes serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Cecil College from 2011 to 2019 and holding various roles at the Community College of Baltimore County from 2009 to 2011, including Program Specialist and Program Assistant. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Disability Services in Higher Education at The City University of New York, Katie also holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in the same field and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Dallas Baptist University.
