Alain Francq

Alain Francq has a diverse background in various industries, working in roles that range from microbiologist to business manager. With an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA in International Business & Marketing from Wilfrid Laurier University, Alain has held leadership positions in companies such as Clearpath Inc., Conestoga College, and the University of Waterloo. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation and Technology at The Conference Board of Canada, Alain has a strong foundation in research, industry innovation, and applied research. Alain has also been a speaker, panelist, and moderator at various international conferences, showcasing their expertise in nanotechnology and research commercialization.
