Tahirah Yasmin Sharif

Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager at The Connection

Tahirah Yasmin Sharif, BS, possesses extensive experience in mental health and addiction services, holding multiple roles within the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services since July 2018 and the State of CT Department of Corrections since April 2014. In these roles, Tahirah facilitated re-entry groups, managed educational services, and served as a DWI and relapse prevention facilitator. Additionally, Tahirah works as a Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager at The Connection, Inc., overseeing cases of adult males with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. As co-owner of Sharif's Intl Fashions Boutique Inc. since 1996, Tahirah has also contributed to the business sector. Academically, Tahirah holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Psychology, and Wellness from Southern Connecticut State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bennett College.

The Connection
