Cllr Rachel Cromie serves as the Cabinet member for Housing and Customer Service at Mid Sussex District Council since May 2019 and has been an active Councillor since then. As the Area Campaign Manager for The Conservative Party since October 2019, Rachel Cromie brings extensive experience in political campaigning and management. Between August 2013 and February 2019, Rachel was the Chief of Staff at the European Parliament, overseeing Syed Kamall's London office. Rachel's political career began with the Conservative Party as a Campaign Manager/Agent from October 2007 to August 2013, successfully campaigning for MP Angie Bray in a competitive constituency during the General Election 2010. Early career experiences include roles as a Trainee Agent and various positions in production at the BBC. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Arts in American Politics and Film from the University of Essex.
