Suria Aujla has extensive experience in both legal and political sectors. Currently serving as a County Councillor for The Conservative Party since May 2019, Suria acts as a Scrutiny Member and Opposition Spokesperson for Climate Change and Place. Additionally, a Town Councillor and a Parliamentary Candidate for Bristol West, Suria concurrently works as a Technical Claims Handler at RPC, focusing on Professional Negligence. Previous roles include adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service from August 2012 to June 2018, and various positions in law firms, including Paralegal roles at Gladstone & Kent Law and Harvey Ingram Shakespeares. Suria holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Bristol Law School and has completed the Bar Vocational Course at Birmingham College of Law. An LLB in Law was obtained from Aberystwyth University.
