Shantanu Bhanja serves as the Special Advisor to the Chairperson at Ashoka University and operates as an Operating Partner at The Convergence Foundation, an incubator focused on developing foundational initiatives in India's social and economic sectors since March 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Executive Officer for the Consumer Products Division at Pidilite Industries Limited from February 2018 to November 2021, and a decade-long tenure at HT Media Ltd, where Shantanu held positions including Chief Executive Officer of HT Digital Streams Ltd and Chief Digital Officer, leading digital transformation initiatives. Shantanu’s extensive marketing background includes various roles at Reckitt, culminating in a Marketing Director position in Portugal. Shantanu is an alumnus of the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, with an MBA in Marketing, and holds a B. Tech (Hons) in Manufacturing Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
