Stephen Harris

Stephen Harris currently serves as Deputy Editor at The Conversation UK, managing the newsroom's daily operations and overseeing the production of numerous stories and newsletters. With previous roles including News Editor and Commissioning & Science Editor at the same organization, Stephen has extensive experience in commissioning and editing content across various topics. Prior to The Conversation UK, Stephen held positions at Centaur Media Plc, where duties included editing for The Engineer magazine and managing projects in the engineering sector, as well as serving as a contributing technology expert for Monocle 24. Early journalism experience includes a role as a reporter for OPP Media Ltd, focusing on international real estate news. Stephen holds a PgDip in Magazine Journalism and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Nottingham.
