Ian Fish

Ian Fish has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Ian has held various roles in different organizations. Currently, Ian Fish works as a Security Consultant at Cyberfort Group and as Chair of the BCS ICT Ethics Specialist Group at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Ian is also a Board Member at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT - Community Board. Additionally, Ian has worked as a Security Consultant at HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) and as an Information Security Consultant at XMA. In the past, Ian served as a Board Member at the UK Chapter of AOC (The Electronic Warfare and Information Operations Association) and as Chair of the BCS Information Security Specialist Group. Ian also has experience as an Owner at ANFI Ltd, providing systems thinking based solutions to organizations in areas such as enterprise risk management and ISO/IEC 27001. Ian has worked as a Cyber Security Contractor at CSC and has been a Member of the BCS Security Community of Expertise. Their expertise spans information assurance, project management, business continuity management, and records and information management. Ian has actively contributed to the field, including representing the BCS at UN Internet Governance Forums.

Ian Fish completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Management of Security from the University of Leicester in 1998-1999. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Maths & Physics from the University of Wolverhampton from 1965 to 1968.

Additionally, Ian Fish holds several certifications, including a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) obtained in July 2015 from (ISC)², a Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer obtained in July 2014 from PECB, as well as certifications in CIPM, CIPP/E, Certified Data Protection Officer, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, and ITIL Foundation, for which the institution and the dates of obtaining are not specified.
