Kunjal Bastola

Kunjal Bastola is an accomplished intern with diverse experience across multiple media organizations. Currently interning at the Medill Investigative Lab for ProPublica and serving as an Editorial Intern for Northwestern Magazine, Kunjal contributes to various journalistic projects. As a key member of the Northwestern News Network since September 2022, Kunjal has taken on roles including Anchor, Executive Producer, and Reporter, contributing to a 2023 Emmy-winning newscast. Additional roles include Staff Writer for Northwestern Undergraduate Law Journal, Research Assistant for the Farrell Fellowship Program at Northwestern University, and a Reporter for The Daily Northwestern. Kunjal's prior experience includes working with CleanAIRE NC and serving as a Research Assistant for Professor Ava Greenwell. Kunjal is pursuing a degree at Northwestern University, building a strong foundation in journalism and media.
