Belal Hossain Biplob

Belal Hossain Biplob is an experienced journalist and researcher with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Reporter at The Daily Star since June 2011, Biplob covers migration, human trafficking, and manpower export issues, having transitioned from an apprentice to Junior Reporter in January 2013. Biplob has also worked as a Reporter for The New Nation and Observer Media Group, addressing various topics such as education, culture, and economy. In academia, Biplob is pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics at Jahangirnagar University, focusing on the English language's application in crime reporting. Previous research experience includes analysis of migration issues at the Migration Research Institute. Biplob holds a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics from Jahangirnagar University.
