Chowdhury Tasneem Hasin

Chowdhury Tasneem Hasin is a highly experienced professional in the field of nutrition and dietetics, currently serving as the Chief Dietician and Head of the Dietetics and Nutrition Department at United Hospital Ltd since December 2006. In addition to this role, Chowdhury has contributed as a columnist for The Daily Star since 2016 and has been an external examiner at the University of Dhaka since September 2009. Previous engagements include guest lectures at multiple institutions, such as State College of Health Sciences and Taherunnesa Memorial Medical College, and serving as a nutrition program coordinator at the Centre of Advanced Research and Social Action from 2004 to 2006. Chowdhury holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the Institution of Nutrition and Food Science, Dhaka University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from the same institution. Educational background also includes studies at Begum Bodrunessa College and Agrani School and College.
