M.D. Abbas

Md Abbas is a skilled journalist currently serving as a Staff Correspondent for The Daily Star since January 2024. Prior to this role, Abbas worked as a Chittagong University Reporter at The Daily Star, BD from January 2015 to December 2019, where responsibilities included collecting and writing news, interviewing experts, feature writing, and producing photo and video stories. Md Abbas holds a Masters in Social Science (MSS) in Communication and Journalism from the University of Chittagong, completed between 2017 and 2018, and a Bachelor in Social Science (BSS) in the same field from the same institution, obtained in 2017. Earlier education includes a Higher Secondary Certificate in Business Studies from Government Commerce College, Chittagong, and a Secondary School Certificate from Soraipara City Corporation School, Chittagong.
