Jason Laplace

Jason LaPlace, CPA has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Jason started their career in 2003 at Schneider Downs, where they worked as an In-Charge Tax Accountant for four years. In 2007, they joined the Columbus Blue Jackets as an Assistant Controller, a role they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2019, Jason served as the Director of Finance & Accounting at The Daimler Group, Inc. Jason then advanced to the position of Vice President of Finance & Accounting at the same company, and later became the Senior Vice President - Accounting in January 2021. Currently, Jason is still employed at The Daimler Group, Inc.

Jason LaPlace, CPA received their Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Jason attended the university from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, Jason completed their high school education at Upper Arlington High School from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their education, Jason holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, obtained from the Accountancy Board of Ohio.
