Topher Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Topher is currently serving as the Chief Communications Officer at The Dalton School. Prior to that, they worked at Grace Church School as the Head of Special Projects & Organizational Initiatives, as well as the Chief Communications Officer. Topher also founded and owned RailLine Creative, a company specializing in web design, social media strategies, and grant writing for small businesses and nonprofits. Topher has also held positions at The Children's Village as a Senior Communications Officer, NYC Teaching Fellows as a Teaching Fellow, THINK Together as a Site Director, Pilgrim Pines Camp and Conference Center as a Program Director, Vermont Independent Media/The Commons as a Writer and Editorial Support, Chapman University as a Program Coordinator & Writer, and Riverside Congregational Church as a Program & Community Outreach Director.
Topher Nichols obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science from Chapman University in 2006. Topher further pursued a Master of Arts degree in Sustainable Development from the School for International Training, which they completed in 2011. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and also received a CORe: Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. Currently, Topher is pursuing a Master of Liberal Arts in Management from the Harvard Extension School.
