Matthew Colin King

Matthew Colin King is an experienced professional with a diverse background in arboriculture, project management, and education. Currently serving as an Arborist at The Davey Tree Expert Company since November 2021, Matthew previously held the role of Project Manager at ECO Roof and Solar, specializing in residential roofing insurance restoration. Matthew has also participated in agricultural education as a Farmer Starter at Farmshare Austin and taught Physics to 11th-grade students at Rockdale High School. Additional experience includes attending the Global Sustainability Summer School at the Santa Fe Institute and working as an Armed Security Officer. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Texas A&M University and a Professional Masters Certificate in Earth Data Analytics from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a previous degree in Physics from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
