Mike Binkley

Mike Binkley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology development and geographic information systems (GIS). As the Manager of Technology Development for the Davey Institute at The Davey Tree Expert Company since September 1997, Mike has focused on research and development, project management, and enhancing organizational efficiency through innovative technology. Prior roles include GIS Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed project management, custom GIS programming, and sales support. Mike also operates M.R. Binkley Consulting, providing GIS and IT consulting services, and served as an instructor at Kent State University, teaching courses on Geographic Information Science and GIS Programming. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation from Kent State University.
