Heather Ludemann currently serves as a Program Officer for the Conservation & Science Program at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation since August 2008. Prior experience includes a role as a Marine Resource Management Specialist with NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service from July 2004 to June 2008, and a brief position as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation in late 2006. Earlier experiences encompass various roles at NOAA Fisheries and the Catalina Island Marine Institute, along with a field biologist position with The Nature Conservancy. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University and a Master’s degree in Marine Policy from the University of Washington.
