Mike Oliveira

Mike Oliveira has extensive experience in IT leadership roles. Mike started their career as an Ecommerce Consultant at Ciber, where they developed web and workflow solutions for an E-Procurement portal. Mike then joined DJJ-The David J Joseph Company as a Manager of IT Systems, where they improved project deliverable success and restructured the team. Mike later served as the Director of IT for the Recycling and Brokerage divisions, where they led system migrations, managed vendor contracts, and oversaw IT strategy. Mike then became the Director of IT Operations, implementing infrastructure improvement projects and leading cloud migrations. Currently, at DJJ-The David J Joseph Company as the VP of IT, they manage a large team, implements cloud migrations, improves security, reduces expenses, and collaborates with Nucor's IT Leadership Team.

Mike Oliveira earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Paper Science and Engineering from Miami University in the period of 1994 to 1999. Mike later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology from Xavier University between 2002 and 2004.
