Tony M. Hankerson

Tony M. Hankerson, CSP, CSSGB has over 29 years of experience in various safety and management roles. Tony M. is currently the Director of Corporate Safety at DJJ-The David J Joseph Company, where they oversee the company's safety initiatives. Previously, they served as the Manager of Corporate Safety at the same company.

Prior to joining DJJ, Tony worked at Metal Recycling Services for 12 years as the Environmental, Safety, and Health Manager. Tony M. directed and led the company's compliance with safety regulations and issued guidelines to ensure adherence.

Before that, they were the Aviation Manager at Rowan County, where they managed the airport safety program and reviewed the impact of FAA and OSHA regulations on safety.

Tony also served in the U.S. Air Force in various roles, including Superintendent and Engine Program Manager. Tony M. managed safety programs and conducted inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Tony M. Hankerson, CSP, CSSGB holds a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Safety and Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they completed between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Psychology from Troy State University, completing it from 1997 to 2000. In the earlier stage of their education, they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A) degree in Aircraft Maintenance Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force before 1998.
