Sten Spinella

Sten Spinella is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Staff Writer at The Day Publishing Company since October 2019. Prior to this role, Sten held the position of Deputy Editor at Vox Magazine from August 2017 to May 2019 and worked as a Reporter at PolitiFact for a short period in late 2018, as well as at The Day Publishing Company and Columbia Missourian earlier in 2018. Sten's journalism career began with positions at The Long River Review and The Daily Campus while pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in English and Political Science at the University of Connecticut from 2013 to 2017. Sten further enhanced qualifications by obtaining a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 2019.
