Yalin Liu

Yalin Liu has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Business Consultant at China Construction Bank. In 2014, they became an Investment Analyst at Guosen Securities, where they analyzed China market indexes and predicted stock prices. In 2015, they transitioned to a role as a Financial Analyst at Huarong Xiangjiang Bank Co. Ltd., conducting industry research and managing portfolios. In 2017, they worked as an Investment Analyst at Clear Creek Capital, where they utilized technical analysis and backtested trading strategies. In 2018, Yalin joined DebtX as a Junior Quantitative Analyst, and they were later promoted to Quantitative Analyst and Senior Quantitative Analyst. At DebtX, they focused on loan valuation and credit risk analysis, as well as calibrating forecast models for different collateral types.

Yalin Liu has a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, which was obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, Yalin Liu was a visiting student at the University of California, Riverside, studying Finance, General. Yalin Liu completed a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Central South University from 2011 to 2015. In addition to these educational qualifications, Yalin Liu has also passed the CFA Level II exam, which was obtained in November 2022 from the CFA Institute.
