Jona Jaupi

Jona Jaupi is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a Staff Reporter at The Defiant since November 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Technology and Science Reporter at US Sun from December 2021 to May 2024, and Staff Reporter positions at ZergNet and The Inquisitr. Jona's early career features contributions as a Travel Reporter and Editorial Contributor for Grin Creative and as a Digital Reporter for The Herald-Sun, where Jona produced engaging editorial content for Australia’s largest circulating newspaper. Prior experience also includes a Corporate Marketing Associate role at Dow Jones, supporting various events and enhancing brand visibility, as well as working as a Research Assistant for Helen Whitney Productions on a PBS documentary. Jona holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Baruch College.
