Sangwon Hong (Paul)

Sangwon (Paul) Hong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sangwon (Paul) is currently working at the Denby Pottery Company Ltd as the Supply Chain Manager (Head of SCM) since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Supply Chain Manager, Consumer Healthcare at Sanofi from November 2020 to April 2021.

In 2019, Sangwon worked at Nestlé Nespresso SA as the Sr. Demand & Supply Planner, where they served as the Functional Leader of Demand & Supply Planning from September 2019 to March 2020.

From 2013 to 2019, they had an extensive tenure at adidas where they held various roles including Sr. Demand Planning Manager, Demand Planning Manager, and Sr. Demand Planning Specialist. During their time at adidas, Sangwon was responsible for strategic business planning, integrated business planning, operational demand planning, and inventory management.

Before joining adidas, Sangwon worked at Doosan Infracore as a Supply Planner and Demand Planner for the construction equipment business group from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they were an Operations Supervisor at S-OIL Corporation from 2005 to 2008.

Sangwon started their career in the Republic of Korea Navy, serving as a Sergeant in the Deck Crew of PKM (Patrol Killer Medium), Second Fleet from 1998 to 2000.

Sangwon (Paul) Hong has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Sogang University. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Core Coaching Competencies \u2160 Basic from CiT Korea in October 2022, Operations Analytics from Wharton Online in June 2020, Barista Skills Foundation from the Specialty Coffee Association in January 2019, Birkman Training (Basic Debriefer Level) from Birkman International in November 2016, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS in October 2016, and Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt from adidas in January 2016.
