Alvin Mathew

Alvin Mathew, MPA, is a Fire Program Specialist with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since October 2016, where representation of Region 2 involves serving as an authority on fire programs across various task forces and committees, and managing the Regional Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. Prior roles include Grants Management Specialist, responsible for grant recipient assessments and fiscal monitoring, and Emergency Management Analyst focused on recovery. Additionally, Alvin held positions as a Program Delivery Manager and Firefighter at the Greenville Fire District and worked in operations support as a Trade Support Analyst and Treasury Analyst at The Citco Group of Companies. Alvin Mathew earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Pace University between 2011 and 2013.
