Linda Byers

Linda Byers has extensive experience in emergency management and planning, with a notable role as the Lead Planning Specialist for the Mitigation Division at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) since February 2005, where responsibility includes managing the Mitigation Planning group and reviewing hazard mitigation plans for compliance. Prior to this, Linda worked for BellSouth as a product manager from 1980 to 2002. Linda holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Morris Brown College.
