Prabir Das

Prabir Das is an accomplished executive in the financial services sector, currently serving as Executive Director at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) since December 2019. Prabir leads significant initiatives, including the implementation of SEC’s Treasury Clearing reform requirements for FICC and the enhancement of default management in fixed income markets. Prabir's tenure at DTCC began in December 2007 as Director, where notable achievements include transforming the MBS post-trade market and launching central clearing support for Treasury Floating Rate Notes. Previously, Prabir served as an Architect, modernizing post-trade processing systems, and held positions at Verizon, First Advantage Credco, and PCL Mindware in varying technical roles. Prabir holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a BE from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
