Chris Harris

Chris Harris began their work experience as a Project Manager/Designer in 1990 in a freelance capacity. In 2000, they moved on to become a Projects Manager/Designer at Megafun Pty Ltd, where they managed various projects for festivals, museums, and commercial sectors. From 2004 to 2012, Chris worked at ACMI as an Exhibitions Manager, overseeing the design, production, and delivery of the exhibition program. Subsequently, they took on roles such as Senior Manager, Exhibitions and Touring, and Head of Exhibition Production and Touring before becoming the Director of Exhibitions and Touring in 2019. In 2023, Chris moved on to become the Head of International Engagement at the Design Museum.

Chris Harris attended Marryatville High School in South Australia from 1979 to 1983. Chris then went on to study Visual Arts at the S.A. School of Art, UNISA from 1986 to 1988.
