David Wetle

Dave Wetle is an experienced engineering and development leader with a strong background in technology and innovation across various industries. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Development at The Detection Group, Inc. since May 2021, Wetle oversees cloud-based wireless solutions for monitoring and alerting properties to potential threats. Previously, Wetle co-founded Store Intelligence | Altierre, where responsibilities included enhancing product offerings and reducing costs. Wetle has held senior positions at Luxim Corporation, Soma Networks, Hammerhead Systems, Nayna Networks, and DSL Communications | Empowertel Networks, demonstrating a consistent track record in product development, team leadership, and strategic direction. Wetle holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
