Ayrielle currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development returning from a former role as a VP of Public Safety Solutions. As VP of Business Development, she is responsible for coordination with OEM Partners, vetting new partners and solutions, oversight of the sales program development and management, and supervising the Program Installation Teams. She represents the Unified solutions offered by the company and is responsible for interfacing with customers about assessing their need for these solutions.
Prior to her return to TDD, for four years, Ayrielle worked at Verizon as a Public Sector Planning & Business Intelligence Manager, in the Public Sector Operations. She also worked in Executive Operations and as a PS Program Office Manager within the Verizon Public Sector Business Group.
Ms. LeGrande began her career in Public Safety at the age of 16 under the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) Grant in Fairfax County. She supported many facets of the requirements gathering portion of the 700 MHz Public Safety Wireless Broadband Network BTOP Grant process.
Early on in her career, she also worked with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, and the Industry Council of Emergency Response Technology (iCERT). She was also recognized as a rising leader in her industry with the receipt of the IWCE Young Professional Award winners in 2019 and has been selected to participate in the Forbes Under 30 summit on several occasions.
Ms. LeGrande has led FirstNet State and Local Planning Grant Program (SLIGP) projects for several states and local governments, including Outreach and Education and Data Collection initiatives. Under SLIGP, Ms. LeGrande allowed her appetite for innovation to flourish where she introduced highly effective approaches to reach stakeholders.
Under the data collection initiative, she enabled stakeholders to submit their public safety communication requirements in a customized, online and user-friendly format. She subsequently led the development of the backend data analytics tool and the dissemination of the surveys through the state and local stakeholder Public Safety agencies.
Ms. LeGrande has led the development of a comprehensive State and Local requirements checklist and online portal, which was used to help Governors and state decision-makers make an objective-based Opt-in/Opt-out decision.
While at George Mason University, Ms. LeGrande founded Chase Dreams Not Boys (CDNB Inc.), a non-profit organization geared towards mentoring youth between the ages of 12 and 17, young college women, and young professionals. CDNB Inc. serves communities and universities in Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Richmond, and Norfolk. CDNB Inc. has sponsored over 1,000 girls in their 12-week Outreach Program.
Ms. LeGrande is also the Founder of Dilane, a business accelerator committed to the EQUAL development of the communities through the support of socially impactful organizations and companies alike.
