Chris York is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product leadership and behavioral change. Currently serving as the Head of Product at Athena since 2021, Chris is also the Founder of Cognitive and The Behavior Institute, both focused on enabling organizations to influence human behavior effectively. Additionally, Chris holds an advisory role at several innovative companies, including Cleo, UCSF Health Hub, Elementus, and Vital Labs, contributing expertise in family support systems, healthcare solutions, blockchain analytics, and digital therapeutics. Teaching as a lecturer in Behavior Design at the Behavioral Economics Bootcamp, Chris brings valuable insights to product leaders. Previous experience includes leading product strategy at Keas and conducting research at Stanford University. Chris holds a BA in Psychology from Stanford University and has also studied at Peking University.
