Shreya Komar has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. From 2022 to the present, they have been part of the Central Allcove Team Youth Advisory Group and the Southern San Mateo Youth Advisory Group at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University School of Medicine. In 2023, they joined Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University as a Student Engagement Assistant. Shreya also worked at The Stanford Daily as a Social Media Director, Desk Editor (Screen Beat), and Mental Health Beat Reporter, and later as a Desk Editor and Reads Beat Reporter. In the same year, they interned at Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana and I-Aim Healthcare. In the field of research, Shreya worked as a Laboratory Technician at Developmental Biology at Stanford University and as a Research Assistant at Harvard University's Gender Science Lab, where they contributed to a research report on gender stereotypes in high school coaching. In 2021, they were a Youth Fellow at MannMukti.
Shreya Komar holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Design & Science Communication from Stanford University, which they obtained between the years 2022 and 2026. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Eastern Regional High School and obtained a High School Diploma. In addition to their formal education, Shreya has also acquired certifications in CPR from the American Heart Association in March 2023 and Youth Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2022.
